Getting paid has been the least modern part of running a home-based business. E-transfers that need chasing, cash on the day, screenshots as receipts. Vendors on BuzzGram can now take card payments directly from their page.
How it works
Setting one up takes a couple of clicks. Open a service in your dashboard, put a price on it, and choose whether the customer pays the full amount or a deposit. That is the whole setup — a payment link is created for you.
Share that link anywhere: your Instagram bio, a DM, a story, or leave it on your BuzzGram page for customers to find. The same link keeps working, so you set it up once per service rather than per booking.
For the customer it is one tap and a card. No account, no app, no back-and-forth working out how to send money — which is usually where a booking quietly dies.
The customer opens the link, sees exactly what they are paying for and what it costs, and pays by card. Apple Pay and Google Pay work without any extra setup.
You get an email when a payment lands. Your money is paid out to your bank weekly, automatically.

What it costs you
You keep your listed price. If you charge $150, your $150 is what the transaction is built around.
The customer pays a 5% service charge on top, which is shown to them before they pay rather than added at the end. Card processing comes out of the vendor side, as it does with any card payment anywhere.
There is no monthly fee and no cost when you do not sell.
Why the price shown is the price charged
The pay button shows the full amount the card will be charged, including the service charge. There is no second number at checkout.
That is deliberate. Canadian rules on advertised pricing require the first price a customer sees to be one they can actually pay, and a button that quotes one figure before a checkout that quotes another is exactly the pattern those rules exist to stop.
Setting up
Payouts are handled by Stripe, so you connect a bank account through them. It takes a few minutes and they will ask for identity details, which is standard for anything that moves money to a bank account.
Your dashboard shows exactly what Stripe is still waiting on if anything is outstanding, rather than leaving you at a vague "pending."
What this does not change
Scheduling stays between you and your customer. There is no calendar, no booking system and no automated availability. This is payment only.
Refunds go through you directly, as they do today. BuzzGram does not issue refunds on a vendor's behalf, and that is stated to customers before they pay.
You are not required to use it. Vendors who prefer e-transfer carry on exactly as before.
Where it is available
Payments are rolling out city by city, starting in Toronto. If your city is not open yet, your dashboard will say so, and we will email you when it reaches you.
FAQ
What does it cost me?
Nothing monthly and nothing when you do not sell. Card processing is deducted from the vendor side of a transaction. The 5% service charge is paid by the customer on top of your price.
When do I get paid?
Payouts run weekly to the bank account you connect.
Does the customer see the fee?
Yes, before they pay. The button and the payment page both show the full amount their card will be charged.
Can I use this for deposits?
Yes. A service can be set to take a deposit rather than the full amount, and the payment page explains which applies.
What if a customer wants a refund?
Refunds are handled by you directly. BuzzGram does not issue them on your behalf, and customers are told this before paying.
Do I have to use payments to stay listed?
No. It is entirely optional and does not affect how your listing appears.
