Vendors are putting their BuzzGram page in their Instagram bio, which means it has to answer "how much?" on load. Until recently it often did not. Here is what changed.

Service groups now show a price without being opened

Prices usually live on the variations inside a service group, not on the group itself. Because groups are collapsed by default, a customer landing on a page could see a long list of service names and not a single number.

One vendor with sixty-one services displayed exactly one price on arrival.

Each collapsed group now shows the lowest price inside it. Groups stay collapsed, because sixty-one expanded services is unusable, but the number is visible immediately.

That figure is scoped to the group rather than the whole business, deliberately. A single "from" price across an entire menu makes every vendor read as their cheapest add-on, and a $2 nail-art extra would have made a serious business look like a bargain bin.

Each group shows its lowest price without being opened.

Services is the first thing you see

Pages used to open on an About tab that mostly repeated the header. Services is now the default view, and the description sits under the header rather than behind a tab.

The Instagram handle moved up into the header too, next to the location, since that is how most customers actually make contact.

Browse pages put priced vendors first

Browse pages show the first twenty vendors before a customer has to load more. A profile with no pricing sitting above a fully listed one pushed the more useful listing out of view.

Vendors with real pricing are now ordered ahead of vendors without. It is a soft boost, not a filter: unpriced vendors remain listed and findable, just lower. Order within each group is unchanged.

Priced services are now readable by search engines

Vendor pages now publish structured data describing the business and each priced service. This is the format Google and other engines read to understand what a page offers, and vendor pages previously carried none of it despite being the best-performing pages on the site.

Currency is derived from the vendor's city rather than assumed, so a Miami vendor's prices are not published as Canadian dollars.

What this means for you

If your services have prices, you benefit from all of this automatically. If they do not, this is the update that makes that gap visible: your page shows fewer numbers, and you sit behind priced vendors on browse pages.

Adding prices takes a few minutes in your dashboard under Services and Pricing.

For customers, the effect is the one that matters: browse a category and you can compare real prices without opening ten profiles or messaging anyone. That is the whole point of publishing them.

FAQ

Do I have to publish prices now?

No. Pricing remains optional and unpriced vendors are still listed. The difference is in ordering and in how much your page can answer on its own.

Where does the "from" price on a group come from?

It is the lowest price among the variations inside that group. It is not the lowest price across your whole menu.

Why is my page showing a lower number than I expected?

Usually a cheap add-on sitting inside a group with more expensive services. Moving it to its own group fixes the display.

Will structured data put my prices in Google results?

It makes them readable, which is the part we control. Whether any engine displays them is its decision, and no site can guarantee that.
